Pollution Prevention


By offering voluntary recognition programs and technical assistance, IDEM promotes pollution prevention activities in businesses and communities throughout the state. Pollution prevention and other environmental stewardship activities, such as recycling and waste management activities, help ensure that Indiana’s environment and economy are sustainable for future generations.

17th Annual Pollution Prevention Conference & Tradeshow: September 17

The Indiana Partners for Pollution Prevention (Partners) to attend the 17th Annual Pollution Prevention Conference and Trade Show to be held September 17, 2014, at The Palms in Plainfield, Indiana. For the past seventeen years, Partners have sponsored a statewide pollution prevention (P2) conference and trade show. Conference topics range from new and innovative P2 technologies being used in Indiana to training on how P2 can save facilities money. As P2 technologies and methods promote environmental best practices and benefits the company’s bottom line this annual conference is extremely successful.
