Mishawaka, Ind. – Food, childcare and information on resources will be provided for free Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Heroes Camp (4130 Hickory Rd.) in Mishawaka during a Community Resource Night sponsored by the Indiana Civil Rights Commission. The event, which will begin at 6:00 pm, will bring local and state resources to the community.

“It is important that we reach every corner of the state in our education and outreach efforts,” said Jamal L. Smith, Executive Director of the ICRC. “We want to ensure that people in the community are aware of what services are available to them.”

Representatives from the following organizations will be on hand to provide information and details about the programs and services they offer:

  • Indiana Civil Rights Commission
  • St. Joseph County Minority Health Coalition
  • School City of Mishawaka
  • Mishawaka Housing Authority
  • Michiana Family YMCA
