Indianapolis-The Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) will conduct a free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar for attorneys and legal professionals in Hammond Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Millard E. Gyte Science Building (Room Powers 130) at Purdue University Calumet. The free training titled “Title VII and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace” will be worth 3.0 CLE credits* for Indiana attorneys.

“It is important that we reach every corner of the state in our education and outreach efforts,” said Jamal L. Smith, Executive Director of the ICRC. “We want to ensure that legal professionals are familiar with recent cases and any changes in legislation.”

The 3.0 credit hour seminar*, which begins at 1:00 pm, will be led by local attorneys who specialize in Title VII and sexual harassment.

The CLE in Hammond is the third in a series of eight seminars in the ICRC’s 2013 Statewide Continuing Legal Education Program. Each of the program’s seminars are free to attend and will focus on local, state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
