DWD offers a variety of services to benefit Hoosier employers including grants to train your staff, tax credits to hire new employees and recruitment assistance. Whether you are developing, expanding, or consolidating your business, WorkOne staff have the tools and resources to facilitate your needs.
The term “employability skills” applies to those skills previously called “soft” skills or workplace-ready skills. Employability skills are those that all employers find necessary in order to find and sustain employment. The skills within these Employability Skills Benchmarks have been vetted by Hoosier employers, and allow Hoosier educational and training providers to have a commonly understood set of skills that students should seek to demonstrate.
HIP Link is the State of Indiana’s new premium assistance program that is an optional component of the Healthy Indiana Plan or “HIP 2.0”. HIP Link expands coverage to working, low-income Hoosiers who are 19-64 years old and have access to their employer-sponsored health insurance plans.
Why should Employers participate?
