Fish & Wildlife > Got INput for Division of Fish & WIldlife? Got INput for Division of Fish & WIldlife?

The Got INput 2014 suggestion period is now closed

To comment on proposed rules before the Natural Resources Commission, please visit

The Division of Fish and Wildlife appreciates the more than 4,000 hunters, anglers and trappers who commented on ideas for possible rule changes. DNR staff members are reviewing the input provided in January and February.

Please note that none of the ideas that were on the list have been approved. Any ideas moved forward will require changes to Indiana Administrative Code (called administrative rules). Rule changes require approval from the DNR and Office of Management and Budget, preliminary adoption by the Natural Resources Commission (NRC), a public comment period (online or by regular mail), a public hearing, final adoption by the NRC, and approval from the Governor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office. Those that may be proposed for rule adoption will not be in effect this year.

The DNR plans to have information available in June of this year regarding the ideas that will move forward as actual rule change proposals.
