The Intensified College Enforcement Program

The Indiana State Excise Police has launched a new program aimed at reducing underage drinking in three Indiana college communities.

Partnering with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, excise police officers recently began focusing additional resources on underage drinking at Indiana University – Bloomington, Ball State University in Muncie and DePauw University in Greencastle.

The Intensified College Enforcement (or ICE) initiative is intended to expand previous efforts to reduce underage possession and use of alcohol in these communities. Priorities include illegal possession and consumption of alcohol, furnishing alcohol to minors, possession and use of false IDs, operating while intoxicated and related offenses.
