Director of Programs

As a member of the senior management team, this position serves as the primary director for all external and internal program initiatives of the Indiana Arts Commission including formulating, establishing, implementing, and evaluating grant programs and projects for the Indiana Arts Commission. Oversees the development and implementation of annual strategic planning for grant programs and projects and other relevant agency activities. The work includes research and evaluation of complex issues regarding effective dissemination of the arts to a diverse statewide constituency. The incumbent serves as the agency’s program liaison, and provides policy recommendations to the Program Grants and Services Committee and Commission as necessary. In addition, the incumbent supervises the program’s two Community Development Managers.
