Supreme Court to hold oral argument in Newton County

The Indiana Supreme Court will travel to South Newton High School in Newton County on Tuesday, October 1. The Court will hold oral argument in Kiera Isgrig v. Trustees of Indiana University (24S-CT-00158), a premises liability case concerning Isgrig’s claim that she was injured when a window at Indiana University fell on her head.

Loretta Rush reappointed as Indiana Chief Justice

On Wednesday, August 21, the Judicial Nominating Commission unanimously voted to reappoint Loretta Rush as Chief Justice of Indiana. The four other justices—Mark Massa, Geoffrey Slaughter, Christopher Goff, and Derek Molter—shared thoughts with the Commission, including their support for Chief Justice Rush to continue leading Indiana’s judicial branch.
