Purpose
The Judicial Resources Committee’s duties include preparing a report to the Board of Directors for approval and submission to the Interim Study Committee on Courts and the Judiciary regarding judicial resources in even-numbered years, developing best practices for sharing judicial resources and reallocation of workload, gathering information from and providing technical assistance to courts that need additional resources or courts that have resources available to help others, and making related recommendations concerning judicial resources.
Ind. Code ยง 33-38-9-5 provides the Judicial Conference may create committees upon action of the Board of Directors. On September 17, 2025, the Board of Directors adopted a resolution to create the Judicial Resources Committee.
