Each year, IHCDA hosts a charity golf outing in conjunction with its annual conference. A recipient organization is selected that is aligned with IHCDA's core values and activities, and volunteers and golfers spend the day at the links for a good cause. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the golf outing.
In 2015, the recipient organization was the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation (HVAF), a United Way non-profit organization, dedicated to eliminating homelessness for veterans and families through prevention, education, supportive services and advocacy. HVAF provides supportive, structured housing to Indiana veterans with the assistance necessary to ensure successful independent living in the community. The event raised approximately $50,000 for HVAF, and we thank all who were involved!
