Per Admission and Discipline Rule 2, it is time for Indiana attorneys to make their annual attorney registration fee payments and IOLTA certifications. To avoid delinquent fees, complete your attorney registration process and IOLTA certification before 11:59pm on October 1.
In May, the Indiana Supreme Court announced it was moving away from paper and going to a statewide e-filing system for court information. The first step is for the Division of State Court Administration to seek competitive bids for an e-filing manager. That manager will be required to work with multiple e-filing service providers statewide. The Division will coordinate the process, including certification of those providers. By having multiple providers, litigants will have filing choices.
The Indiana Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Tax Court have launched a plan to implement the Odyssey Case Management System (CMS) in their courts. With support from the trial court technology staff at the Division of State Court Administration, Indiana appellate courts are being added to the statewide CMS that is currently used for over half of all new case filings statewide.
