About Us
A Township Trustee is an elected official in the local government. A township trustee administers a township, which is a political subdivision of a county, and in common with most other state officials, serves a term of four years. Current Trustee Debbie Driskell took office on January 1, 1991. She also serves as Executive Director of the Indiana Township Association. Delaware Township is one of nine townships in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Mission - To serve the citizenry of Delaware Township by providing relevant services while discerning the efficient use of tax dollars; and present this office as the standard of why grassroots government should continue as the first line of defense for township citizens.
Vision - To bring to the citizens of Delaware Township the most responsive governmental services possible and to stand worthy of review by taxpayer. Providing the means for improving of the socio-economic status of the community by: administering township and food pantry assistance in a timely, dignified and courteous manner.
