The Parks Board meets every second Tuesday of each month at the Westport Town Hall at 5:00 p.m. Unless otherwise advertised. The Westport Town Hall is located at 207 E Johnson Ave, Westport, IN 47283.
The Westport, Indiana Parks Board
The Westport Parks Board is creating a 5-year Master Park Plan with guidance from the SIRPC (Southern Indiana Regional Planning Commission). As part of a pilot program, the Board is taking on much of this work independently to help shape the future of Westport’s parks. The plan is required for grant eligibility through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and will guide park improvements over the next five years. While the process is challenging, the Parks Board is committed to ensuring the plan reflects community needs. Once approved, the plan will allow Westport to pursue grant funding to support future improvements at the Westport Community Park.
