Expect Road Closures During Construction UPDATED 10/30/2025

A stormwater project is nearing completion from North Bailey Drive to Waverly Road. This project started on September 15th and it involves storm sewer piping and ditch work. The main sewer piping has been installed. Pavement patching, concrete work and restoration will occur the week of November 3rd.
Waverly Road at Ballard Street will be fully closed late Wednesday November 4th and most of the day Thursday November 5th for repaving where the new storm sewer was installed. The detour for local traffic will be Hjelm Road east to Coleman Street, north to S. Bailey Drive then west back to Waverly Road. Through traffic should take US Highway 20 to State Road 49 north to US Highway 12. Temporary road closures will occur on the adjacent side streets (Fleming, Ballard, N. Bailey) for pavement patching on November 5th and 6th. Please respect the road closure signage and construction workers. Thank you.
