• Park in well lit areas
• Do not buy more than you can carry to your vehicle.  Take a friend to help carry any packages to your vehicle.
• Wait until asked before taking out your credit card, cash or checkbook.  An enterprising thief could shoulder surf you to obtain your account information.
• Carry your purse close to your body.  Place your wallet in an inside coat pocket or a front trouser pocket.
• Have your vehicle keys out before you approach your vehicle.  Check the back seat and around the vehicle before you get in.
• Do not leave packages visible in your vehicle.  Lock them in the trunk or if possible take them directly home.
• Be vigilant:  IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.
