Secretary Rokita's Website to Post Election Results

Indianapolis, IN -- Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita today announced that election returns from state level contests and ballot questions in Indiana will be posted on his website Tuesday evening. Hoosiers can log on to http://www.sos.in.gov/ to see voting results.

The Secretary of State's website will post Indiana results for President and Vice President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Indiana Attorney General, Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Senate, State Representative, Circuit Court Judges, Superior Court Judges, Court of Appeals Judge, and public questions.

"My website will serve as a one-stop shop for election results," Rokita said. "The returns will begin appearing after all the polls in the state have closed and will be updated continuously as county election offices send us their results."

The live returns will not be the official, final results of the election. They are the initial numbers reported by county officials. Hoosiers can also view statewide election results dating back to 1997 by visiting the website.
