Alex Glass was appointed as the Indiana Securities Commissioner by Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson in July 2015. Prior to his appointment, Glass worked in the Securities Division in multiple capacities since 2010, including serving as the Chief Deputy Securities Commissioner since January 2013. As Chief Deputy, Glass was instrumental in setting internal and external office policy and upgrading the Division’s technology systems. Prior to joining the office, Glass worked as the Director of Operations at a marketing research company in Carmel, Indiana.
Glass holds a Bachelor of Science from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, and a law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Glass is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana and currently resides in Westfield, Indiana.
