Office of the Indiana Secretary of State Reminds Hoosiers to Bring Photo ID to the Polls; Offers Election Day Hotline and Online Services

Secretary of State Charlie White’s Election Division to offer Mayoral Primary results Tuesday evening.

INDIANAPOLIS (May 2, 2011) - Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White reminds Hoosiers voting in the May 3, 2011 Primary Election to bring Photo ID with them to the polls. Voters, who do not bring Photo ID, will still have an opportunity to vote provisionally and present their IDs to their local county election board by May 13.

Indiana voters and officials can also contact the Hoosier Voter Hotline at 1.866.IN1.VOTE between 5:30AM and 7:00PM with any questions or concerns.

Hoosiers can visit on their computers or from a mobile device to find out where their polling place is located, and track the status of their absentee ballot request, all by clicking on "Confirm Voter Registration." 

Hoosiers can also visit to get a copy of their ballot and to find contact information for all 92 county election boards.

The Secretary’s Election Division will be posting Mayoral Primary Election results on their website located at as they receive them from local clerks in contested counties.
