I'm thinking about Suicide

If you have begun to think of suicide, it's important to recognize these thoughts for what they are: expressions of a treatable mental health crisis. Don't let shame or embarrassment stand in the way of talking with someone you trust. Remember, suicide is a permanent solution to a problem that is temporary.

If you have thoughts of death or suicide, do one of the following immediately:

  1. Contact a doctor;
  2. Go to the emergency room; or
  3. Call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433).
