Important notice regarding changes to the law affecting Physical Therapists

Effective July 1st, 2019, pursuant to Senate Enrolled Act 586, the practice of physical therapy in the state of Indiana is updated to include new functionalities, treatment periods, as well as patient care and management. Senate Enrolled Act 586 also prohibits an applicant for a license as a physical therapist or a certificate as a physical therapy assistant from taking the respective examination more than six (6) times.
