Administrative Rule Hearing - July 24, 2012

The Indiana Optometry Board will hold an Administrative Rule Hearing on July 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. regarding optometry licenses and an optometric legend drug certificate in the matter of application, renewal and continuing education.    It will also update and delete language that is no longer necessary or obsolete.   A copy of the Proposed Rule and Economic Impact Statement are listed below for your review.

If you would like to appear and give testimony regarding the proposed rule, the hearing will be held in the Conference Center - Room 14 of the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204, at 10:00 a.m.   Anyone entering the Indiana Government Center South building will be required to enter at the 302 West Washington Street entrance.  This will be the only entrance to the building that will be accessible to the public.  This entrance will be equipped with metal detectors and screening devices that are monitored by the Indiana State Police Capitol Police.  Secured entry includes the enforcement of weapons restrictions inside Government Center buildings.
