Funding Goal & Summary

The Hoosier Homegrown Fuels Blender Pump Grant Program (HHF) seeks to increase the availability of and use of higher ethanol blends in Indiana. The HHF program pays for the purchase of blender pump dispensers UL87A-E25 and UL87A-E85 and related hanging hardware to dispense E15-E85 for a minimum period of five years (December 2016 - December 2021). The HHF program will fund approximately 110 new ethanol pumps in the state. Currently, Indiana has 185 dedicated ethanol refueling stations with fuels above E10.

Funding Sources

This grant program is made possible by funds from the US Department of Agriculture's Farm Services Agency (FSA) and funds from the Indiana Corn Marketing Council. OED will receive $895,000 from FSA through the new US Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership. You can learn more about the FSA grant opportunity here. The FSA grant will be combined with an investment from the Indiana Corn Marketing Council (CMC) to support the final development of 110 new ethanol pumps in the state. CMC will combine the two sources of funds to offer a the Hoosier Homegrown Fuels Blender Pump Grant Program.
