Every summer, just before the start of the new school year, the Tipton County Health Department co-hosts a Back to School Night. During this event, we provide local students with bags filled with essential school supplies to help them start the year prepared and confident.
🎒 Bags are free of charge and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Through a generous grant from Firefly Children & Family Alliance, we are able to purchase supplies to fill 600 bags. The Family Resource Center of Tipton County, Indiana coordinates efforts with more than 40 community partners—agencies, organizations, and local businesses—who come together to provide food, water, popsicles, school supplies, and additional community resources.
