Get on the Septic Installer's List

To get on the septic installer list, which is posted at the Health Department for potential customers, interested parties must take the Harrison County Health Department Septic Installer's Exam, and pass it with a score of 80% or more. Take the test at your leisure and bring or mail it back to the Health Department to be graded.

You may also take and pass the IOWPA exam to be included on our installer's list. Information can be found on their website here.

Once you have taken and passed the test, you must install at least three (3) septic systems successfully to all State and County codes. When you have completed these requirements, your name and contact information will be added to our list.
