Swift Brothers were wholesale dealers in “choice dressed beef.” They were located at 123-127 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1892.

Scope and Content:
The collection consists of two invoices for beef sold by Swift Brothers to Koehler Brothers. The first invoice is dated January 17, 1892, for $5.65. The second invoice is dated March 21, 1892 for $6.45. At the lower right corner is: F. M. Griffey, Swift & Co., 7/1/37, which could be the donor and date of donation.
