Save time and money with the power of LibraryIndiana!
LibraryIndiana, a partnership between the Indiana Department of
Administration (IDOA) and Indiana State Library (ISL), invites
public and academic libraries to participate in a demand aggregation
event for copy paper. The volumes collected in this event will be
included in a Central Indiana Education Service Center (CIESC) copy
paper solicitation and will leverage library and K12 entity volumes
to secure deep discounts on standard and specialty copy paper.
Earlier this year, participating libraries realized up to 73% in savings by participating in this cooperative purchasing event. Leveraging technology in the LibraryIndiana.com system, the team will collect orders from libraries. Those orders will be aggregated with K12 entity orders into a large volume purchase and will be included in a public solicitation for vendor competition. Smaller libraries that do not the minimum quantities required by this cooperative purchase are encouraged to pool resources with area schools to take advantage of these deep discounts.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Libraries that would like to be included in the demand aggregation
event must provide the quantity they would like to order through the
www.LibraryIndiana.com tool. Please understand that
participation in this cooperative purchasing strategy is a
commitment to buy. Therefore, participants will be required to
purchase by the end of the agreement’s term. Since only one
response per entity can be given we have sent an invitation to
registered library directors. If you are a public library director
seeking to give response rights to another individual on staff,
please email to
info@LibraryIndiana.com. If you are interested in
participating but do not have a username or password, please send an
email to
info@LibraryIndiana.com.
