Samuel Wilson Parker

9 Sept. 1805 - 1 Feb. 1859

Samuel W. Parker was born near Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. He moved to Connersville, Indiana, in 1928. In addition to being a lawyer, Parker was also a newspaper editor, president of the Whitewater Canal Company, and president of the Junction Rail Road Company. He served in the Indiana General Assembly and the U.S. Congress.
