Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch is excited to announce that the 2022 Golden Hoosier Award nominations are now open through June 30. This special recognition is a tribute to older Hoosiers for their commitment of community service and dedicated volunteerism. Sometimes unrecognized, often over-worked and always unpaid, ideal candidates are Indiana residents over the age of 65 who are considered unsung heroes for their positive impact on the lives of others and the well-being of their community. He or she will be someone with a life-long passion for service to one, several or many causes.
This special recognition is sponsored by the Office of Lt. Governor in collaboration with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Aging. The Golden Hoosier Award is the highest honor bestowed on a senior in Indiana.
