Summer reading information for kids entering Kindergarten-5th Grade
Read books, do fun activities, win prizes!
There are two ways to register and track reading time - pick which one is most convenient for you! Participants over 13, or caregivers, can create accounts to track minutes and activities online.
On the Beanstack Tracker app
Search for “Beanstack” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and follow the instructions to create an account for yourself or your family.
On the web
In your browser, visit beanstack and follow the instructions to register for yourself or your family, and get started.

How It Works:
Registration and first day to track time and activities for summer reading: TBA

Grand prizes will be drawn on TBASet a goal! How much time do you want to read this summer?
Read! Track the time you have spent reading or have listened to someone reading to you in Beanstack. Older children who read aloud to younger children may count those minutes.
Earn Prizes! Weekly prizes and tickets for the grand prize drawing are earned when you have read for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, and 4 hours. Earn extra tickets by reading different types of materials.
Grand prizes are specific to each location. You can only be signed up for one summer reading program.
To redeem prizes, complete the requirements on Beanstack, and visit your library.
Minutes are not transferable between individuals.
Group Registration: If you would like to register a classroom or group for the Summer Reading Program, please contact a branch for details.

Attend weekly events to be eligible for a $10 gift card each week.
Grand prize, a $50 VISA gift card, will be randomly drawn. One per each branch.

We are using an app called Beanstack.
There are three ways to participate - pick which one is most convenient for you!

Search for “Beanstack” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and follow the instructions to create an account and track your progress.
On the web
In your browser, visit beanstack and follow the instructions to register. You can log back in to track your progress.
Need help? Our staff can help get you registered and track progress online or in the app.
In person
Library staff can register you and track your reading for you. Stop in at your library for more information.
How to Earn Prizes:
Adults earn prizes by reading books, ebooks, audiobooks and magazines. Each title is worth one entry towards weekly drawings and the grand prize drawing. Get extra entries by reading specific formats (audiobook, magazine) and genres (mystery, non fiction).
Log your progress in Beanstack or visit or call your local branch to report your progress! Weekly drawings will be held and a grand prize drawing will be held at the end.
Prize winners will be contacted.
Important Dates:
You can track your activities and enter drawings between TBA. Grand prize winners will be selected TBA. Drawing winners will have additional time to redeem their prizes.
