IURC APPROVES SALE OF ONE CALL COMMUNICATIONS TO OCMC

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission today approved the transfer of ownership and all assets and certificates of territorial authority of One Call Communications to OCMC.

In Cause No. 42206, the Commissioners were assured that OCMC would continue to operate the utility in the same way it was before the asset transfer. The Commission also understands that OCMC will provide both long distance and operator services and does not anticipate any increase in price, decrease in service options or the reduction of the quality of service as a result of the sale.

OCMC will notify the Commission and the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor when the asset transfer is complete.
