The
Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) has set August 13, 2002 as the
date for a field hearing in New Castle, Indiana, on the request of PSI Energy
to purchase the generating facilities of CinCap VII.
In
Cause No. 42145, the Commission feels it is in the best interest of the public
to grant the request for a public hearing
which was made by the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor
(OUCC).
The
IURC’s portion of the hearing will begin at 6pm, at the Smith Building at 221
N. Memorial Drive in New Castle. At this forum citizens will have a chance
to air their views about the proposal by PSI Energy. During the hearing, participants will give testimony on the
record. Attorneys from the OUCC, PSI Energy, CinCap VII, other intervenors and
officials of the IURC may question them.
