IURC APPROVES DECREASE IN GAS COST ADJUSTMENT FOR KOKOMO GAS AND FUEL

                       

Today, in Cause No.37396 GCA 43, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved the gas cost adjustment request from Kokomo Gas and Fuel. The tables below show the impact on customers for the billing cycles of February 2002 through July 2002.

Kokomo Gas and Fuel serves more than 33,000 customers in the City of Kokomo, primarily, and in Greentown and Russiaville in Howard County; Windfall and Sharpsville in Tipton County; Galveston and Young America in Cass County; and Burlington in Carroll County and Forest in Clinton County.  In addition, gas utility service is supplied to eleven other communities as well as the rural areas located in Howard, Tipton, Cass, Carroll, Clinton and Miami Counties.
