IURC APPROVES GAS COST ADJUSTMENT FOR OHIO VALLEY GAS CORPORATION

Today the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved an order setting the gas cost adjustment for customers of the Ohio Valley Gas Corporation in August, September and October 2002.

In Cause No. 37354 GCA 74, the Commissioners agree the company has purchased gas at the lowest reasonable price. Ohio Valley Gas provides service to the public in Connersville, Everton, Lyonsville, Springersville, and rural areas of Fayette County; Clinton Corners, Negangard Corner, Penntown, Sunman, and rural areas in Ripley County; rural areas in Franklin County; Brownsville, Liberty, and rural areas in Union County; Cannelton, St. Marks, Tell City, Troy, and rural areas in Perry County; Dover, Guilford, Lawrenceville, Logan, New Alsace, St. Leon, Yorkville, and rural areas in Dearborn County; and rural areas of eastern Spencer County west of Troy; all in Indiana.
