You can search by Agency, First Name, and/or Last Name. Results for employees are annualized salaries from the most recent payroll cycle. Part time employees are listed with their hourly rate.
Data included for state legislators is the total compensation from the previous calendar year. Data shown for an elected official reflects the daily rate factor that fluctuates based on the total number of days in the calendar year. This means the total compensation may fall slightly short of the full statutory salary (IC 4-2-1 and IC 33-38-5-6).

Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) provides salary information for Local Government Units, Schools or Higher Education through the Gateway Portal. The DLGF is also responsible for ensuring property tax assessment and local government budgeting are carried out in accordance with Indiana law. The Department is charged with publishing property tax assessment rules and annually reviewing and approving the tax rates and levies of every political subdivision in the state, including all counties, cities, towns, townships, school corporations, libraries, and other entities with tax levy authority.
