Location of Offense: Grand Calumet River beneath the Calumet Avenue Bridge near Spohn Middle School.
Circumstances: On 10/31/1981, Halloween night 1981, Debra Fulton, age 16, left her house at 5644 Walter Street, Hammond Indiana near Hammond Tech High School. She was wearing a sweater, jeans and was headed to the Roller Dome Rink. That was the last time her family saw her, she did not return home after curfew. Her body was found Sunday November 1st, by the Grand Calumet River beneath the Calumet Avenue Bridge near Spohn Middle School.
