CLEAR:  CLEAR is intensive, individualized, client-centered counseling for adopting and maintaining HIV risk-reduction behaviors for HIV positive individuals who continue high-risk behaviors, discordant couples, and HIV negative individuals that engage in high-risk behaviors.

SSP:  Syringe Service Programming funding is provided to support SSP within Allen County.

FUNDED INTERVENTIONS:

OUTREACH TESTING:   Outreach Testing funding calls for an individual level intervention which will ensure that  persons at increased risk for HIV and HCV are properly screened and tested. Furthermore, those found to be infected shall be immediately linked into the existing system of care.

PrEP/ART:   PrEP is a new HIV prevention approach where HIV-negative individuals use HAART (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy) medications to reduce their risk of becoming infected if they are exposed to the virus. The medications work to prevent HIV from establishing infection inside the body.

The grantee will work to establish, enhance, and provide PrEP services in their area

SPECIAL POPULATIONS SUPPORT PROGRAM (SPSP):   The program is designed to vover two complementary services disease prevention and supportive care.  The Special Populations Support Program strives to minimize the negative impact of chemical dependency on the health of persons at risk of HIV, or those already living with HIV, in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, cost-free to the client.
