A Pasture Walk and Grazing workshop was held at Jeff Meinders in the summer of 2014. Over 60 landowners came to the event which was held in conjunction with the Hogan Creek Watershed, Dearborn County SWCD and Purdue Extension. Jeff Meinders has been a board member on the Ripley County board for 20 years and has played a major role in conservation in Ripley County. Jeff is also on the state IASWCD board where he is currently Past President. The Ripley County SWCD is very fortunate to have Jeff and we are thankful to him for opening his farm to allow other landowners see the benefits of conservation practices on a livestock farm.
