Marshall County SWCD Success Story for 2012
In 2012, the Marshall County Soil and Water Conservation District saved a lot of soil from being blown and washed away! The District rented out a Salford RTS (vertical tillage) to farmers in our county. In 2012 it covered 1,741 acres during the spring and through November.
We also rented out a Great Plains no-till drill. It was used on 323 acres during the spring and fall.
