The Board of Supervisors, with the assistance of office personnel, provides educational and technical conservation information and activities throughout Carroll County.  The following was provided by the SWCD in 2014:

 The annual windowsill garden project was presented, in cooperation with Purdue Extension Service, to 199 -4th graders at Carroll & Delphi Elementary Schools
 1st grade conservation field day was sponsored by the District for 89 students at Carroll Elementary.  The event was rained out half way through the day and cancelled by Delphi on their scheduled day.  It was hosted by Jonah Peterson and Deb/Alan Shultz on their land in Adams Twp.
 AG DAY for the county’s 205-4th graders
 Sponsored the trophies and judges for 4-H Natural Resource Projects
 A conservation booth was displayed at the fair
 An Earth Fair was held for 194 second graders in Carroll & Delphi Elementary Schools at the Sanctuary, Delphi Pentecostal Church
 Made available to rent to land-users a 12 cu. yd earthmover, grass seeder, a grader, and a 15 ft. no till drill
 Co-Sponsored the 2014 Fall Indiana Master Naturalist course at Camp Collum, Clinton Co.
 Co-Sponsored the Soils Judging Contest with Clinton Co.
 Co-Sponsored the Carroll/White Bi-County Soils Workshop
 Made available plat books, flags, and tile probes to purchase
 Aided land-users with state nursery orders
 Various conservation education programs presented to local students
 Served on the Greater Wabash River Resource Conservation & Development Council (RC&D) for economic, cultural and natural resource enhancement of Carroll County and surrounding area
 Provided assistance to bordering counties with conservation education programs
 Administered funds from Clean Water Indiana (CWI) for a cover crop research plot & cover crop cost share.
 Reviewed Carroll County Rule 5 Plans for construction sites
 Administered IDEM 319 Grant for Deer Creek/Sugar Creek Watershed
 Administered grants from NWISWD, Cargill and Indiana Farm Bureau
 Applied for grants from Carroll White Operation Round Up, IDEM 319 Implementation Grants
