Nutrient and Pesticide Management
Nutrient and pest management are crucial in the profitable production of
crops in Indiana. Many strategies were developed by industry and
universities. Increasingly farmers are validating these recommendations
on-farm. Several farmer groups are actually developing their own
management practices based on on-farm research. A successful example
is Indiana's On-Farm Network.
