The New Indiana Grown Initiative
With demand at an all-time high for locally-made products, the Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) is revamping the current Indiana Grown program to meet the needs of Hoosier consumers. With the current program wrapping up at the end of 2014, the new Indiana Grown program aims to significantly enhance Indiana’s strong agricultural presence by promoting locally grown foods, local employment opportunities, and economic growth, while at the same time building sustainable communities.
