Jay County Manufacturing Academy
The Jay County Manufacturing Academy, recipient of an Indiana Works Councils’ Innovative Curriculum Grant, are actively working with students on a variety of fronts. Led by Jeremy Gulley, Director of Teacher Effectiveness, both classes and internships are exposing students to hands-on opportunities.
Students engage in paid internships that also include a $250 education stipend upon successful completion. Students are also able to take the WorkKeys assessment at the local WorkOne office and will be moved to the top of the Work One list for employment after graduation.
