Employer Update: December 2020

The end of the year is upon us. And, it’s salary certification time again for the 1977 Fund.

All certified salary letters are due by the end of 2020. The letter must be:

  • completed and signed by the Clerk-Treasurer, Controller or Trustee (Authorized Agent) of the city or town of the police and/or fire unit,

  • received prior to the first ERM payroll submission of 2021, and

  • faxed to (317) 234-6692 or emailed to eppa@inprs.in.gov.

You will need to confirm the amount in ERM. Go to the Employer Management User Manual, for instructions. Page 66 of the ’77 Fund Contribution Type Details section covers what you need to know.

If you need any assistance, please call our Employer Advocate Team at 888-876-2707.

REMINDERS:

You must have correct payroll dates in ERM for you to transact with INPRS in 2021. Please make the time to accomplish this task before the end of 2020. If you need help updating your payroll dates, please contact the Employer Advocate Team.

It’s very important to keep us up-to-date whenever an employee leaves their position. You can easily report any separations from employment by updating the employee’s last day in pay and last check date in ERM.
