Important soft open information

To ensure you do not run into issues in reporting wages and contributions, enrolling members, etc. with the launch of ERM, going live October 2012, make sure you are prepared by taking full advantage of ERM's soft open period. This "trial" environment will allow you to resolve and sort through issues prior to go-live, leading to a smooth transition to ERM this fall.

ERM's soft open period will be available to all employers beginning July 16 and continuing through September 23. Ensure you are prepared for and aware of the following:

Temporary password: will be emailed by June 25, only to the person designated as the initial user of ERM. This user can log in and set up additional users for soft open, if needed. The temporary password will come from; users should add this email to their safe lists.

URL address: employers will receive an email containing the URL link to access ERM on July 13.

Historical information: historical wage and contribution information as of 3/31/12, with the exception of records that may not be available, will be converted into ERM for the soft open. However, member enrollments/terminations will be current as of 5/8/12.

Practice points: during the soft open period, practice:

  • Enrolling members
  • Terminating members
  • Using bulk upload files (member enrollment, member maintenance, wage and contribution) if you plan to use them in ERM after go-live
  • Submitting wages and contributions
  • Submitting adjustments
  • Resolving errors
  • Submitting wage and contribution reports for payment
  • Generating ERM reports
  • Setting up users
  • Confirming payroll calendars
