State Road 234 and County Road 200 W. Roundabout in Hancock County

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is proposing an intersection improvement project at State Road (S.R.) 234 and County Road (C.R.) 200 West in Hancock County.

S.R 234 and C.R 200 West

The project is needed to address existing traffic congestion and delays at the intersection, which are expected to increase as traffic volumes grow in the future. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow and provide more efficient travel through the intersection. The proposed improvements include replacing the existing four-way stop with a single-lane roundabout. The project would also construct a new northbound left-turn lane on C.R. 200 W north of the intersection and add a multi-use path along portions of the intersection to improve pedestrian connectivity between nearby school properties.
