BEAD Program Update 

The Indiana Broadband Office is navigating an exciting milestone in our statewide connectivity mission. Round 1 of the BEAD Subgrantee Selection is officially underway, with a critical application window open from December 30th, 2024 to February 12th, 2025. Internet service providers are bidding on underserved and unserved addresses across the state.

Where is the IBO?

On January 16th, the Indiana Broadband Office illuminated Statehouse GIS Day, showcasing how geographic insights drive our connectivity mission. Our team connected with passionate Hoosiers, revealing the critical role of mapping in expanding digital infrastructure across Indiana.

Indiana Connectivity Program/Next Level Connections

January marked exciting progress for the Indiana Connectivity Program and Next Level Connections.  Our latest milestone? The 12th round of ICP funding, which unleashed $378,578 to bring highspeed internet to 93 addresses spanning 19 counties.  Behind the scenes, our team is diligently wrapping up NLC-3 final reporting and preparing for the January 31st quarterly reporting deadline.
