ILEA Alumni Association

The Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Associates (ILEAA) was formed in 2012 to further professionalize Indiana’s certified law enforcement officers and to support Indiana’s certified basic training academies.  The ILEAA is a totally independent alumni association for Indiana’s certified law enforcement officers that receives no funding from the state of Indiana or other governmental agencies.

The Association entered into a partnership with the “Indy Public Safety Foundation” (IPSF) which allows donors to deduct their gifts on their taxes.  Over recent years, the Association has donated thousands of dollars to replace worn out and broken equipment at the academy.

To join, renew your ILEAA membership or make an additional donation, please use the link below.  A two-year voting membership for certified officers is $10.00.  Other supporting and partner memberships are also available.

Commemorative Brick Project

The ILEAA instituted a Commemorative Brick Project which recognizes donors and officers, past and present, in the law enforcement services.  A portion of the brick sales will then be dedicated to helping support Academy training functions and purchasing Academy equipment.

These bricks will be sold for $50.00 and will be engraved with these names and displayed at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.

To order a brick, contact our Association’s Treasurer, Darlene Heald, at:  dheald38@gmail.com.
