This page lists the current asbestos license eligible for renewal. The listed license is in good-standing and is within 60 days or less of expiring. If more than one license is renewed, each license must be renewed separately. Click on Continue next to the listed license.
The total fee amount is now displayed. Please note the online processing fee is included in the total renewal amount. Next is an asbestos refresher training course reminder. Lastly, please read through the 18 month lapse rule at the bottom of the page.
Helpful Information: Part of the processing fee supports the online renewal service. The remaining amount is a charge by the card company for the online transaction.

This page displays the applicant’s contractor information that has been provided to the Agency. If a contractor has assigned a new Designated Representative, moved the company to a new location, or made other changes within the past year, theses updates can be entered here.
Helpful Information: Pay particular attention to the mailing address that is on file. It is important that the mailing address be current. This not only allows the Agency to correspond with you, but also assures that your renewed license is delivered to the correct address by the U.S. Postal Service. Generally, the renewed license is mailed within ten working days of the online renewal date. Go to Next Step to proceed.
This page displays several questions. Question number one certifies the fresher course training has been completed. Questions two through five certify that a contracting company has had no disciplinary action taken since the last renewal. Use the drop-down boxes on the right side of the page to enter a Yes or No. Please review the certification statement at the bottom of the page. If you agree with the certification statement, click on Submit Answers to proceed.

This page displays the amount of the state license renewal fee. Keep in mind the license renewal fee amount does not include the online processing fee. The online processing fee will be added on the final payment summary page.

This page summarizes the total fee charges for the online renewal. Note that the processing fee is broken down into two parts: an enhanced access fee and the instant access fee. The enhanced fee goes to the internet service provider of this site. The instant access fee goes to the credit or debit card company to process the online transaction. This is the receipt page. It is a summary of all the transaction details that have been completed during the online renewal. The page can be printed, saved to a computer, or simply closed. The online payment will appear on a credit card statement as “State of IN wwwingov”. If an email address has been entered on the license application form, a confirmation email will be sent automatically to the applicant confirming the renewal. The license will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service within 24 hours of the online renewal date. The applicant can allow one or two days to pass then visit the Professional Licensing Agency (PLA) web site at www.in.gov/PLA to verify their asbestos license online.
