<h2 align="center">Vibriosis</h2>
<p>Vibriosis is an illness caused by the bacterium <i>Vibrio parahaemolyticus</i>. 
It normally lives in warm seawater and causes disease in those who eat 
contaminated seafood or have an open wound exposed to seawater. Ingestion of <i>
Vibrio parahaemolyticus</i> can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

<p>In 2005, there were no reported cases of vibriosis in Indiana.
<a target="_blank" href="VibriosisFig1.htm">Figure 1</a> shows the number of 
reported vibriosis cases (11) for the five-year period 2001-2005. </p>
