<h2 align="center">Cholera</h2>
<p>Cholera is a waterborne illness caused by the bacterium <i>Vibrio cholerae</i>. 
Illness occurs when contaminated water or improperly cooked food, especially 
seafood, is ingested. This occurs more often in underdeveloped countries where 
water supplies and proper sewage disposal are inadequate. <i>V. cholerae</i> 
produces a toxin which is responsible for the distinctive watery diarrhea. Other 
symptoms of cholera may include vomiting, leg cramps, and shock. </p>
<p>There were no reported cases of cholera during the five-year period 2001-2005 
in Indiana. </p>
